Click on 'Setup Hostel >> General'

The window 'Hostel Setup' opens and you can fill in your details:

  Please define your default release and length of stay when creating new allocation.
Default Release realeases in 24,48 or 72 hours

Incomplete Booking: Note:
This booking system does not complete a booking with other roomtypes if there are not enough beds.
Please can set the maximum allowed number of beds missing per night for a valid booking.

Allow booking if there are missing beds per night. ('0' means no incomplete bookings allowed)

This message is displayed when there are missing beds. (Press 'default' to set this message to a default message.)
  Select the conditions for a valid incomplete booking:

Deny booking if the first day is not available.
Deny booking if there are no beds available on friday.
Deny booking if there are no beds available on saturday.
Deny booking if there is more than 1 day that cannot be booked.
 
Hostel Full The following options are only available if you have an advanced account. Hostel Full Note:
  • Please specify your Message, Link and URL to show when your hostel is full.
  • Leaving this text empty will display "We are unable to book this hostel on the selected date, please adjust your booking."
  • Press 'default' to set this message to a default message.

Confirmation Confirmation Note:
  • The following link (text) will appear after a successful booking.
  • This is an extra text that allows you to direct clients to another webpage when they press the link or the 'exit' button.
  • You do not need to 'thank them for their booking'. That has already been done.

After filling in all the details you can go to 'setup seasons'

This is an optional module which doesn't need to be used but if you are planning to use it, now is a good time to configure it.
